Housing Agencies National Network Alliance, Inc. (HANNA) is committed to safegaurding your privacy online. Recognizing the importance of respecting the privacy of our members, we collect, retain, and use information about you only where we reasonably believe that it will help administer our business or provide services and other opportunities that would allow us to serve you better. Please read the following policy to understand better how your personal and agency information will be treated.

Collection of Information from Our Members

The information we collect from you includes information required to communicate with you, including your name, mailing address, phone number, fax number, e-mail address; and to identify who you are, including your IP address, your agency name, your title, and agency size information.

Use of the Information Collected from Our Members

We use the information you give us to evaluate your agency size, prevent fraud and establish your account on our system. In many cases, we use the information to send you e-mail. To verify your identity, we may also use the information to call you by telephone. We will not be able to process your application if you do not provide us with the information requested on the application. IP address is used to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our Web site.

Maintenance of and Access to Your Information

Understanding the importance of the information you provide us, we have strict processes to help assure that your account information is accurate, current, and complete in accordance with commercial standards. In addition, we have procedures that limit employee access to your account information to those employees with a business reason to know such information about you and your agency.

We will not sell any personal or agency information you provide to us to another entity. However, HANNA does reserve the right to transfer or disclose customer information as part of the sale of all or part of HANNA stock or assets. We also may disclose certain information to comply with a court order or if we have a good-faith belief that such disclosure is necessary to identify persons violating the law.
